Raíces
Fountain

The Raíces Fountain is one of the most
romantic places in Old San Juan, located at the end of el Paseo de la Princesa.
It was completed in May 1992 to celebrate the New World’s 500th
anniversary. The fountain was designed
by Spanish artist Luis Sanguino and shows the cultural diversity of Puerto
Rican heritage through the Spanish, African, and Amerindian people.
