This blog was created as a project for our tenth
grade Individuals and Societies: History of Puerto Rico class given by Victor Quiñones at Robinson School in San Juan, Puerto
Rico. Our names are Claudia Abilleira, Stephanie Carrasquillo, Paolo Diaz and Zoe McCue. For this project we went to Old San Juan and visited fifty places
that are important, taking photos in all places. We also researched the
places to include information about each one. The purpose of this blog is to
promote tourism and provide information for people visiting Old San Juan.
Old San Juan is one of Puerto Rico’s most important tourist attractions. There
are historical buildings, government buildings, parks, plazas, churches,
museums, restaurants, and much more. As a group we expected to see places
we were familiar with, like El Morro and La Fortaleza, but we also wanted to
learn more about other places in San Juan. We spent two days exploring old
San Juan and we were not disappointed.
