The Capilla del Cristo was for those who
believed there was a greater power, God. There is a local legend of how the
church was built. And it was that there was a man that was on his horse and was
coming close to the end of the street. The man couldn't get the horse to stop,
so he prayed and asked for salvation. Then the horse stopped instantly, that is
where la Capilla del Cristo now stands.
