La Rogativa
La
Rogativa was designed by Lindsay Daen and is located at the Plazuela de la
Rogativa in Caleta de las Monjas close to La Puerta de San Juan. It holds the legend of a Catholic Bishop and his
other fellow members that made a march in faith with crosses, torches, and
chanting during the invasion of British in 1797. The British gave up on the
attack because they thought the members were Spanish army reinforcements.
