Plaza del Quinto Centenario

Plaza del Quinto Centenario is right next to el Cuartel de Ballaja. This plaza was made to pay tribute to the Fifth Centenary of the discovery of America in 1992.

Plaza San Jóse

Plaza San Jóse is located at the cross-street of San Sebastian Street and Calle del Cristo with the San Jóse Church on the northern side. The plaza also contains the Ponce de Leon statue with many benches and trees around.

Plaza de las Monjas

Plaza de la Monjas is a famous plaza that has been worked on by many famous artists from present day Puero Rico, it is surrounded by many important buildings such as el Cathedral de San Juan Bautista and El Convento.

Plaza Dársena

Plaza Dársena is located outside the city walls near el Paseo de la Princesa and it is close to the cruise ships piers. This plaza is filled with food and souvenir shops, and is a place for people to gather and play dominoes and dance to live music.

Plaza de Colón

The Plaza de Colón dates back to 1893 when they wanted to honor with a statue, Christopher Columbus. There are plaques with important moments in his life around the statue.

Plaza Arturo Somohano

This plaza was in honor of the musician Arturo Somohano because of his international musical achievements. They also created a school to go with it which moves a lot of people through it.
